About
The winds are blowing strong once more. Yesteryears were a time of storms and isolation. People had to survive on their own, prosper on their own, make good on their own. Now is a new age of discovery. Adventure is calling.
The Winds Await!
The dawn of exploration has come. The skies have cleared, and we are still here, still alive. Below us lies the sea of clouds, and impossibly below that, the long forgotten ground. Now it has fallen to us to strike out, by ship or balloon, to near and far, to explore the mountain spires that still hold life. There is life to be found, there is treasure and there is the legend, the telling of how our world came to be.
But there is danger.
The king of Dalaam, and the last court known to us, at the centre of the world, reaches out with an iron fist, with legions of his blue-clad soldiers, o what end, we can only guess at.
And there are others. Simple people–good people–people just trying to get by, who sail the skies to make a better life for themselves and those they care about. The merchants, the privateers and those with nowhere else to go.
So come, the sun is up and the skies are waiting.
Skies of Fortuna is a tabletop role playing game set in a world of pirates, wild magic, and open skies filled with adventure and danger. You take on the role of privateers finding their way through a reborn world as you voyage across the ten skies.

Avoral
Making their aeries upon the tallest peaks in HighSky, these hollow-boned bird-people stand 7 feet tall with small hands at each wing’s midpoint, allowing them do nearly anything human hands can do. Their sharp beaks and talons make them terrifying foes both on ground and airborn.
Human
Spread out across the spires are pockets of humanity. Ambitious, creative, both heroic and villainous, humans have a knack for working toward common goals in inventive ways that has let them grow and claim dominion over the majority of these skies.
Medua
Sometime during the last Age of Storms, the floating jellyfish-squid-like creatures arrived in the skies. They are immediately recognizable by their heavy robes, which cover their entire form, protecting them from severe sunburn. Nearly perfectly silent, they communicate through limited psychic communication. They are incredibly curious and make for excellent craftsmen and tinkers, using their many tentacles to manipulate and build in ways the other races cannot.
Ursa
Native to the sky of Sal to the far south, these sentient bears generally keep to themselves and their territory. It was only when humans came to their lands that they began setting out to explore and make a name for themselves and their culture.
